Business InternationalGiven the difficult environment facing the youth sector for employment, a lack that deepens in times of crisis, the solution is little economic growth entrepreneurs, said Andrew Devenport, head of Youth Business International (YBI).

“In 2009, the economic recession, global unemployment rate grew to 13% and youth have been most affected,” he said.

He said that entrepreneurs have an important role in job creation to ensure sustainable economic growth in emerging countries, where Latin America has a great culture in this regard.

To support youth entrepreneurship in these economies, the YBI conducted the YBI Global Forum 2010 in Mexico City, where they met delegates from 37 countries worldwide, who represented a global network dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs, and in Mexico, works with young entrepreneurs in Mexico AC (JEMAC), an organization that receives business proposals to select projects to receive an initial capital, business advice and assistance of a mentor.
